Rivada Select Services, a subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. solely focused on securely serving the specialized connectivity needs of U.S. government, defense and civilian agencies, today announced the appointments of three key board members capable of advancing the company’s breakthrough Outernet satellite constellation and its impact on critical missions.

Rivada today announced that DoD satcoms industry veteran John Scott is joining Rivada Select Services as Senior Vice President, Growth Strategy & Operations, to further develop its U.S. Government, Intelligence and Military business.

Rivada Networks, Inc. today announced the formation of Rivada Select, a new wholly owned subsidiary established as a proxy organization to serve the specialized needs of U.S. government and defense customers.

The United States Navy has put Rivada under contract to develop and deliver Virtual Network Operator capabilities over Rivada’s Outernet constellation. Under the first phase of its contract with the U.S. Navy, Rivada will engage in joint engineering cooperation with the Navy to delineate a Virtual Network architecture specifically designed to meet the Navy’s needs on the Rivada Outernet.
